So this was done for 
who wanted a picture of her who-world-traveler Midge (check out her backstory, very cool!! [link] )
Basically, Midge was one of Ned's best friends in high school, but she's been gone for years searching for "Solla Sollew." asked for a picture of Midge and Ned with Midge (though trying not to be) being extremely awkward around jojo. The idea of Midge, what with her being gone so long, not knowing how old Jojo is and assuming (based on his height) that he's really young really appealed to me for some reason...maybe I just like giving jojo a hard time 
And you know how adults are with little kids, they try to make them feel like "grownups" by being overly-impressed when a kids' "this many" fingers
...you know the sad thing? This would have TOTALLY worked on Lil' Ned
